Blausee was unable to follow up on her fine win at Yarmouth last month when she could only manage a 5L 6th place behind Impatient at Kempton on Wednesday. Upped in Class and trip to a mile she was never on terms in what was a warm 0-85 Nursery. Held up at the back of the field she appeared to give the leaders too much advantage and was unable to make any significant impression coming into the final furlong. Whether this was a tactical error or simply that she didn’t get the extra furlong at this level remains to be seen.

Impatient won this convincing for Ralph Beckett winning a spot more cosier than the 1 1/4L on Incinerator suggests and could follow up, whilst Blausee still has plenty to offer in the right company.
